Thanks to an impressive crowdfunding campaign, the WIF community, or the new army of WIF, raised its target figure of over $650,000 to secure advertising time on the gigantic wraparound screen of the Las Vegas Sphere.
The iconic Las Vegas venue, owned by Sphere Entertainment Co., boasts one of the world’s largest immersive 360-degree curved screens. Its massive digital display encapsulates the entire spherical structure, showcasing any visualization in plain view for the millions of tourists visiting the Las Vegas Strip each year.
The milestone achieved by the WIF community is not to be underestimated, as major corporations have paid premium daily rates of $450,000 or more to advertise on this prominent digital real estate.
The WIF Community Donated Over $700k to Advertise in Las Vegas
Undeterred by the hefty price tag, Dogwifhat’s faithful contributed over $704,993.552 out of the $650,000 they aimed to raise at the start of the campaign.
The funds, which could only be sent in the stable cryptocurrency USD Coin, are controlled by five community members tasked with ultimately purchasing the advertising space.
Donations range from $1 to nearly $10,000 from wealthy supporters, who obviously hope the token will rise in price after attracting the attention of the millions of tourists and gamblers in Las Vegas curious about the new dog-themed meme coin.

Like Bitcoin, WIF’s price has continued to rise, with the new cryptocurrency reaching historic highs.
At the time of writing, WIF is trading at $4.08, after a 30% increase in the last 24 hours and a 618% increase so far this month, according to CoinMarketCap.
